Bad new for Rock en Seine festivalgoers who were delighted to attend Rage Against The Machine's highly anticipated show this summer in Paris. Scheduled on Thursday August 30, 2022, at the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud, Rage Against The Machine's only show in France is cancelled. This is what the Parisian festival announced this Thursday August 11 on social networks, sharing a message from the American band.
RATM indeed explained the end of their tour is cancelled because of singer Zack de la Rocha's health.

Initially scheduled in 2020 but cancelled over the health crisis, Rage Against The Machine will not be performing at Rock en Seine in 2022. Zack de la Rocha, Tim Commerford, Tom Morello and Brad Wilk were to expect their fans on Tuesday August 30 for their only show in France! Needless to say this news is likely to make many of their fans very sad as they were impatient about jumping on to their many hits: "Killing in the Name", "Wake Up", "Guerilla Radio" or even "Bombtrack" and "Know your enemey".
Following this last-minute cancellation, Rock en Seine has decided to cancel Tuesday August 30, as Ausgang and Run The Jewels were scheduled on this very day. "Due to the cancellation of Rage Against the MAchine's European tour for medical reasons, we regret to announce the cancellation of Tuesday August 30th show day", the festival stated. Furthermore, "customers who have purchased a ticket for Tuesday (day ticket or 2-day pass) will be eligible for a refund in the next few days", promoters added.
The festival also reminds that despite the hard blow, festivalgoers are expected from Thursday August 25 to Sunday 28, to dance to Arctic Monkeys, Nick Cave, Tame Impala and Stromae.
