One day follows another at Hellfest. After three dry days, it finally rained in Clisson, prompting some festival-goers to get out their ponchos or take shelter under the tents at the Temple and Altar stages. But it took more than that to stop festival-goers from making the most of the fourth and final day of Hellfest, which featured concerts by Halestorm, Pantera and, of course, Slipknot. Here's a look back at the final day of Hellfest, Sunday June 18, 2023!
We kick off the day on Mainstage 1 with an ultra-dynamic show by the Americans of Hollywood Undead. Musically close to the worlds of Linkin Park and Fever 333, with their hip-hop skilfully mixed with metal, Hollywood Undead managed to get a good chunk of festival-goers on their feet, and even make them forget the rain, thanks to a lively and fun set, complete with palm trees on stage and inflatable beach balls in the audience!
It takes a lot more than that to scare off festival-goers. Despite the rain that lashed the site for a few hours on Sunday June 18, the public didn't hesitate to flock to the gates to enjoy the shows of their favorite artists, without forgetting, of course, to don the famous poncho, the essential fashion garment for enjoying the concerts without getting wet!
Halestorm! This was the (very) pleasant surprise of Sunday June 18 on Mainstage 2. Not to be confused with Alestorm, Halestorm is an American band led by the smiling Lzzy Hale. A hard rock outfit, Halestorm delivered an ultra-dynamic, catchy set, driven by the incredible, powerful and transcendent voice of the singer/guitarist, who is determined to keep up the momentum and make a well-deserved place for herself in the small world of women's rock'n'roll.

The United States will be in the spotlight on the Mainstages this Sunday, June 18, with the famous band Hatebreed. A veritable benchmark in hardcore, the quintet quickly set the Mainstage ablaze with their powerful tunes, creating unmissable circle pits!

Ever heard of Electric Callboy? A veritable musical phenomenon among many fans of extreme music, especially young people, the German band put on a crazy, dynamic set, with confetti throwing, infectious energy and electronicore tunes provoking uncontrolled swaying and repeated slams!
Naturally, one of the headliners on Sunday June 18 was the American band Slipknot. And unsurprisingly, festival-goers in masks and fancy dress wishing to pay tribute to their favorite band were out in force that day.
Unsuccessful Eurovision candidate Lord of The Lost played their very first Hellfest concert under the Temple on Sunday. Although the tent was far from full, the German gothic metal band's fans present at the start of the evening were euphoric, as were Lord of The Lost's musicians. With his fishnet stockings and short shorts, Chris Harms, the band's frontman, was like an electric battery, making this set even crazier than we'd imagined!
After the rain comes the sun, as we all know. But also the slush, a must at any good festival. As a result, two teams were formed: those wearing little sneakers and avoiding mud puddles as much as possible. And the others, proudly equipped with warrior's boots, and not hesitating to brave the risk without question.
What could be better than enjoying the music of Pantera, perched 40 meters above the ground? While most festival-goers chose to throng Mainstage 2 to the rhythm of Phil Anselmo's groovy metal tunes, we opted for the famous Ferris wheel, with its incredible panoramic view of the entire Hellfest site!
Of course, Hellfest is all about memorable concerts, but it's also about the tide of bikes parked outside the site. So many, in fact, that it's hard to find your bike at the end of the day!
Missing Hellfest already? Good news: the extreme music festival has announced its return to Clisson in 2024!
