A new 17th edition of Hellfest! From Thursday June 27 to Sunday June 30, 2024, the legendary festival honoring extreme music returns to Clisson for 4 days of concerts as explosive as they are powerful. On the program? A rich program featuring legendary bands such as Metallica, Kerry King, Avenged Sevenfold, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Machine Head, Megadeth and Saxon. In all, over 170 bands have been announced for this year's event.

How do I get to the festival by public transport? What items are prohibited? Which bands are not to be missed, and what are the concert times by stage and day? Here's everything you need to know about the 17th edition of Hellfest in Clisson !
Car, carpool, shuttle, bus or train... there are plenty of ways to get to the Hellfest site. If you're planning to come by car, you should know that the festival provides two official parking lots free of charge :
" Parking outside the official parking zones will not be tolerated, and police will punish offenders on the public highway (fines and removal of the vehicle by the pound) ", Hellfest states on its website, adding that " water and electricity are not available in the parking lot ".
If you prefer the bus, then note that the festival provides a shuttle service accessible from the Clisson train station or from Nantes airport to the festival site.
Please note that for journeys to and from Gare de Nantes, SNCF trains are the only alternative.
If you're planning to come to the Hellfest site by train from Nantes, and leave by train to Nantes as well, then you should know that the Pays de la Loire Region is introducing night trains from June 26 to July 1. They run in the Clisson - Nantes direction every night. Click here for timetables.
Before reaching the Hellfest site, you'll need to sort out your belongings, as a number of items are forbidden in the concert area, including barbecues, metal cans, bulky bags larger than 10 liters, glass and plastic bottles with corks, camping chairs and inflatable chairs, motorcycle helmets, alcohol, camel bags, umbrellas and parasols, selfie poles and professional cameras (SLR, camcorder). A major event at this year's Hellfest! After two years of construction, La Gardienne des T énèbres has just come to life, thanks to the incredible work of La Compagnie La Machine. After taking its first steps in Nantes, the Gardienne des Ténèbres is coming to the Hellfest site this summer. She will be on display at the entrance to the Kingdom of Muscadet every evening from June 27, between 10pm and midnight. This is your chance to see her eight legs and female bust come to life!
