The National in concert at the Zénith de Paris in June 2024

New European tour for The National! The American indie rock band, led by Matt Berninger, will soon be hitting the roads of the Old Continent, with stops in Italy, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark and the UK... The National is also planning a one-off concert in France, on Wednesday June 5, 2024 at Le Zénith in Paris.

This new European tour by The National will be an opportunity for Matt Berninger and his bandmates to present live the tracks taken from"Laugh Track", the second part of a double album that began with"First Two Pages of Frankenstein" in April. For this 10th studio album, the Cincinnati-based band has invited a number of artists, including American musician Phoebe Bridgers, as well as Bon Iver and country singer Rosanne Cash.

The National 's new European tour will also be an opportunity - we hope - to (re)discover the band's previous hits from their other 9 albums, including"Boxer" and the sublime"High Violet". Released in 2010, this album received the same triumphant critical reception as its predecessors. And that's not all, as it also reached #3 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S., #5 on the U.K. charts, and went gold in many countries (Belgium, Canada, Denmark, U.K.). To top it all off,"High Violet" won the Q Award for Best Album in 2010.
