ZZ Top blues rock returns to France for a European tour in summer 2024. Still led by Billy F Gibbons, who performed at the Olympia last summer, the legendary trio from Houston, Texas, are back on the road on the Old Continent, announcing no fewer than 12 dates. From Sweden to Switzerland, via Norway, Denmark, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Great Britain... ZZ Top will also be making a stopover in France, with a one-off concert scheduled for Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at the Zénith de Paris - La Villette.
Since the death of Dusty Hill, the band's illustrious bassist, Billy F Gibbons and drummer Frank Beard have been joined by Elwood Francis on bass. Together, the band continue to offer rock, blues and boogie to their many fans.
We imagine that this new ZZ Top European tour, the band's first since 2019, will be an opportunity for the Texan outfit to pay tribute to Dusty Hill, performing some of his many hits including " La Grange ", " Gimme All Your Lovin ", " Sharp Dressed Man " and " Legs ", as well as playing a few tracks taken from"RAW", the band's latest opus released in July 2022.
