A British rock legend takes to the Grand Rex stage in Paris. This summer, Steve Hackett, the famous guitarist of the Genesis group between 1971 and 1977, announces his arrival in the capital for a European tour, stopping off at the legendary Grands Boulevards venue on Monday, July 1, 2024.
During this unique evening in Paris, Steve Hackett will take the opportunity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the album"The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway". Released on November 22, 1974, this legendary rock record is Genesis' sixth studio album. Presented as a double concept album, it went gold in France. Marked by tracks such as " The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway ", " In the Cage " and " Carpet Crawlers ", it was above all Genesis' last album with singer Peter Gabriel.
Steve Hackett launched his solo career in 1975. With a rich discography of almost thirty albums to his credit, Steve Hackett is due to unveil a long-awaited new solo opus,"The Circus and the Nightwhale", on February 16, 2024.
On the live front, Steve Hackett will take to the stage at the Grand Rex in Paris on July 1, 2024 to perform Genesis'"The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway", released 50 years ago, but that's not all! The English artist also plans to perform and play several of his solo titles. A word of advice: don't miss the opening of the ticket office with the Live Nation presale on Wednesday January 31 at 10am, followed by the general on-sale on February 2 at 10am.
