Created in 2010, the Days Off festival celebrates its 14th edition from June 24 to 28, 2024 in Paris. As innovative as ever, the Days Off festival is once again inviting leading figures in rock and contemporary music to present festival-goers with surprising and daring creations.
Having welcomed such prestigious artists as Antony & The Johnsons, Damien Rice, Beck, Rufus Wainwright, Cat Power, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Eels and, more recently, Sigur Rós, Thylacine, Interpol, Ben Howard, Kevin Morby, José González and Lous and the Yakuza, the Days Off Festival strikes again with another eclectic program, to be discovered over 5 days at the Philharmonie de Paris and the Cité de la Musique, from June 24 to 28, 2024.
So, what can we expect this year? The Day Off festival has unveiled the artists who will be rocking this 14th edition. So, who are they? Well, this summer, get ready for Air. The French electro duo will take over the Philharmonie de Paris on Monday June 24, 2024 for an exclusive opening concert. The band plans to take advantage of this date to play their legendary album"Moon Safari" in its entirety. Released in 1998, just over 25 years ago, the album made a real impact, thanks in particular to the hits " Sexy Boy " and " Kelly Watch the Stars ".
In 2024, Air - made up of Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel - will be back on the road, playing this legendary album in its entirety. After a date at theOlympia, the duo will open the Days Off festival at the Philharmonie de Paris on June 24, 2024.
Another name expected at Days Off this summer? Anohni and the Johnsons, formerly known as Antony and the Johnsons. After an absence of over ten years, Anohni is back in the spotlight with a new soul-inflected album and two exclusive concerts scheduled for Wednesday June 26 and Thursday June 27, 2024 in the Philharmonie's Grande Salle Pierre Boulez.
As for Low Jack, the famous dj and producer, he'll have a carte blanche at the Belvédère on June 28. And don't miss Clarissa Connelly, the Scottish musician based in Denmark, for a concert announced for June 25, as well as producer and singer Sabrina Bellaouel, scheduled for June 27 at the Cité de la Musique.
