If you love museums and unusual experiences, this outing is for you! On June 19 and 20, 2024, from 7.30pm to 10pm, the Palais de Tokyo is launching a new edition of its "Cabane workshops", this time dedicated to carpet creation!
Forget classic cultural outings, and make way for unbridled creativity! Here, backstage at the 16th arrondissement museum in Paris, you'll be introduced to tufting, punch needle and embroidery techniques by two artists: Cindy Bannani and Amine Habki. For two exclusive evenings, create your own fluffy work in a convivial atmosphere, complete with a buffet of food and drinks to recharge your creative batteries!
And, for even more inspiration and ideas, the workshop ticket includes access to the 6 current exhibitions at the Palais de Tokyo: Signal, Dislocations, Touching Intensity, Worried Past, Weaving the Hybrid, A Celebration of Craft. At the end of the two sessions, go home with your mat under your arm, having had your fill of culture!
So don't delay, reserve your place for this unusual workshop at the heart of the capital's hippest museum!
