Paris Design Week 2024: our photos of the Hall Haus collective exhibition at Lafayette Anticipations

Paris Design Week is here! From September 11 to 14, 2024, Lafayette Anticipations will be transformed into a veritable creative laboratory with works by the Hall Haus collective. An unmissable contemporary design event that pushes back the boundaries between art, design and technology.

On the first floor of Lafayette Anticipations, Design Space AlUla unveils unique pieces of furniture, the result of collaboration between designers Leen Ajlan, Leo Orta and the Hall Haus collective. Inspired by the rich culture and landscape ofAl'-Ula in Saudi Arabia, these creations are revisited and reinterpreted in collaboration with French craftsmen. To be discovered: two chairs, a bench in cast aluminum, and above all a 36m2 sofa in the purest Saudi tradition.

A vibrant tribute to the region's thousand-year-old heritage, where tradition and modernity meet to give birth to works of art that marry authenticity with innovation. Conversations, bringing together designers and distinguished guests, are also organized to explore the secrets behind these works and offer a complete immersion in theAlUla universe.

The experience continues on the second floor with the SEEINGSOUNDS installation, a sensory exploration designed by Hall Haus in collaboration with Matéo Garcia Studio and LE Club Sandwich Studio. This sound and light installation plunges visitors into a synesthetic journey, where the boundaries between the senses are blurred to offer a renewed perception of reality. Every evening, this work is reactivated by live musical performances from beatmakers such as 3010, PLATINUMWAV and Richie Beats.

Finally, on the third floor, the Hall Haus collective presents the " One 4 Hall " chair, an emblematic work born of collaboration with renowned artist Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. This unique piece embodies the bold, visionary spirit of Hall Haus, while reflecting Castelbajac's colorful, poetic universe. A true invitation to discover the very essence of contemporary design, where each object tells a story rich in meaning and emotion.
