Do you know Jeanne Vicerial? A talented visual artist and committed researcher, the French artist is unveiling some of her impressive work this spring and summer in a free exhibition to be seen in Paris. From May 17 to July 19, 2025, Galerie Templon - Beaubourg will present the culmination of the artist's two-year reflection on metamorphosis, in an installation entitled " Nymphose " .

For two months, the public will be able to admire Jeanne Vicerial's " presences ", the large sculptures of black thread, crocheted or smoothed, so characteristic of her practice. For the occasion, the gallery announces that the room will be"transformed into an intimate chamber or sacred chapel," and"covered in black".

The exhibition will also unveil a wall of small " sex-votos ", made with a single thread, and in which the artist inlays nuggets of bronze and fine gold for the first time. These works evoke subjects as diverse as the fear of the passage of time, evolution and disappearance.

Born in 1991, Jeanne Vicerial likes to question contemporary means of clothing design through textile research. After studying to become a costume designer and then earning a Master's degree in Clothing Design at the École des Arts Décoratifs de Paris in 2015, she will become the holder of a SACRe (Sciences, Arts, Creation, Research) doctorate in 2019.
