France loves cinema, as much as it loves art, painting, sculpture... And when art and cinema meet, it gives magnificent exhibitions to discover in Paris and in the Ile-de-France region!

The Cannes festival, the Deauville festival, the Annecy festival, the Gérardmer festival , the Lille short film festival... France and the cinema, it is a long love story which goes back to the very beginnings of the history of the cinema, at the end of the XIXth century. Such a long and rich epic inevitably inspires artists.

It is therefore not uncommon to see museums, galleries and art foundations interested in cinema, its history, its evolution, its great characters. The seventh art is an almost infinite source of subjects: costumes, make-up, special effects, actors and actresses, directors, sagas, series, popular characters, settings, genres, animated films... The possibilities are vast!

For our greatest pleasure, the art places of Paris andÎle-de-France regularly take over these subjects, allowing us to enrich our culture. We come out of these exhibitions with a lot of unusual information, and stars in our eyes! It's decided, we go back to the museum to enjoy these exhibitions around the cinema.
