Le Printemps des Cités-Jardins, the free event with picturesque walks, from May 27 to June 11

From Saturday, May 27 (Whit Saturday) to Sunday, June 11, 2023, the Garden Cities Spring is back, with unusual and heritage walks throughout the region.

The garden city is an urban landscape concept, theorized by Ebenezer Howard, a British urban planner, to designate places combining the advantages of the city with those of the countryside, mixing nature and architecture in the heart of large cities. In the Île-de-France region, there are many garden cities, including the best known of them, such as Stains (93), Pré-Saint-Gervais (93),Argenteuil (95), Champigny-sur-Marne (94)...

The Printemps des Cités-Jardins is spread over three weekends and offers free visits to about fifteen garden cities in Ile-de-France, according to the initiative of theAssociation régionale des cités-jardins d'Île-de-France. So, during this particular Spring, discover the garden cities of Champigny-sur-Marne in a guided tour, those of the park of the Poudrerie of Sevran-Livry, take a walk and a watercolor while visiting the Blumenthal city of Épinay-sur-Seine, embark on a bike ride to discover the garden cities of the North of Paris...
