How about a gourmet break? This winter, the lovely Hotel de Buci invites Gérard Mulot, the local pastry store to create a tearoom worthy or Marie-Antoinette.
On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, Hotel de Buci offers to enjoy within its intimate lounges, Fabien Rouillard’s delicate creations, such as his tasty macaroons, his major treat Amaryllis (a big macaroon with fresh raspberries), his délicieux and his lemon tartlet.
Maître d’Hôtel Edgar thoroughly selects these sweet treats at Gérard Mulot store located 76 rue de Seine and displays them in a wonderful tableware made of Gien earthenware, featuring the famous Toile de Jouy, a wonderful way to enjoy a break in Paris hyper center.
To accompany these delicacies, we enjoy delicate teas by Palais des Thés and Henri LeRoux hot cocoa that reminds us of Marie-Antoinette’s era.
Once seated in the Empire-style alcoves, we feel like in a bubble untouched by time and Edgar’s kindness obliges us to take time!
Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
