That's why, to help you make your choice and deconstruct preconceived ideas, this talented ice cream maker doesn't hesitate to let you taste the different flavors. The tasting speaks for itself: each recipe is perfectly balanced, and you'll find yourself appreciating flavors you'd never have chosen blindly. For example, we were pleasantly surprised by the peach lemon balm! In fact, quite frankly, we loved EVERYTHING about it, right down to the revisited, low-sugar granita.

Behind this unique, affordable spot lies a family history. In fact, this ice cream parlour has been delighting Parisians for 40 years over two generations. Originally set up in the 13th arrondissement, this frosty address has now taken up residence in the 12ᵉ arrondissement , a stone's throw from the Viaduc des Arts, making it an ideal location to enjoy a stroll along the coulée verte, cornet in hand.

At La Tropicale, there's something for everyone, including vegans, vegetarians and those intolerant to gluten and lactose. There's something for everyone, with a wide range of products to suit every diet. Every day, the spot offers new flavors, making it all the more reason to return again and again without getting bored.

On the spot or to take away, the price remains the same. You can take a break in the tearoom and indulge in ice cream, sorbets and frosted desserts. You can even enjoy a healthy lunch on the go, or take part in a mochi-making workshop. And if you've discovered your favorite, you can take your jar home with you. All in all, there are some fifteen flavors to be discovered each week, in line with the seasonality of the products.
