It's been 5 years since Maria Gloria Brigoni, a true Italian from Lombardy, opened her little neighborhood trattoria: Oliva. She has a full house every lunchtime and, thanks to her success, she now opens in the evening.
This small restaurant welcomes you in a very cosy and warm decor. The patinated walls are softly lit with a subdued light, the gray and the brown are the dominant colors.
The owner proposes a simple but very greedy cooking, which makes you travel directly in Italy. She only works with seasonal products and proposes new dishes every day, as well as 2 or 3 different fresh pasta recipes every day.
The poached egg on a parmesan cream and truffle petals
Among the classics of the place you have the linguine with pesto, the poached egg on a parmesan cream and truffle petals without forgetting the dessert of Oliva, the raspberry or chocolate semifredo!
To accompany her good dishes, Maria Gloria has made a selection of Italian wines but also some French references chosen with great care!
2 or 3 fresh pasta recipes per day
If you feel like offering yourself a little ticket to Italy for the time of a meal, we recommend you this little trattoria in the neighborhood: Oliva.
