Avocateria, the king of avocado toast in the heart of the Sentier district - permanently closed

Is theavocado a trendy fruit (yes, the avocado is a fruit in the botanical sense of the term...)? A tasty ingredient, in any case, that Linda Trin and Alexandre Hattab have decided to work with throughAvocateria, an avocado bar located in the heart of the Sentier district, rue du Caire, and offering a whole range ofavocado toasts, among others, for all lovers of exotic cuisine.

The idea behind this brand (and behind this seduction operation) is to rethink the customer experience and break with the codes of traditional catering by offering healthy, gourmet cuisine. The ambition is also to make homemade dishes accessible to all, with no butter, no added sugar and, above all, no additives or preservatives.

As you enter the building, you're immediately struck by the eye-catching pastel pink frontage. Then, as you step inside, you're equally struck by its warm, wood-paneled interior, a veritable bubble of vegetal comfort. In the kitchen, you'll find avocado toasts that are as tasty as they come, like the"Kiss my Hass" described above, the"Bombay Express" made with toasted country bread, creamy curry hummus, Hass avocado, watermelon radish and salad, or the Athene Vibe, featuring toasted country bread, super-sweet beet hummus, Hass avocado, feta, coriander and salad.

For burger lovers, savor theAvo Burger, a burger with brioche bun, signature guacamole, feta, homemade red cabbage pickles, mesclun, homemade tahini sauce and quinoa tortillas, or indulge in the Healthy burger, a sandwich featuring brioche buns, homemade beet ketchup, aged cheddar, Hass avocado, cucumber pickles, mesclun and quinoa tortillas. And if that's not enough, avocado bowls and Apero Time boards complete the offer, for a moment of indulgence just as green as the rest of the menu.

For dessert,avocado is also available in a sweet version: a succulent Valrhona chocolate brownie with avocado and salted peanuts, a lemon moelleux with avocado-lime cream, poppy seeds and fresh raspberries, or a Granola Bowl... A perfect way to end a meal.

A menu we were able to test by click & collect. Our favorite, an avocado toast, of course: theAthene Vibes, made with organic sourdough bread, beet hummus, avocado and feta. A fresh, slightly tangy toast, ideal in summer to cool down. And don't forget to treat yourself to the healthy desserts on the menu.
