Do you like burgers? Do you like bao burgers? You're going to love Shiso Burger, with its exotic bao burgers and original recipes.

Burger or bao, why choose? At Shiso Burger, a gourmet's dream comes true, with the perfect combination of the two: bao burgers, the clever and oh-so-tasty alliance between the unavoidable Asian buns, plump and airy, and burgers, the star pillars of street food.

On the Left Bank, near Saint-Michel, or on the Right Bank, at the foot of the 70s towers of the Horloge district, a stone's throw from Rambuteau, Shiso Burger unveils a short, inventive menu of bao burgers. The little extra at Shiso Burger in Rambuteau? A spacious terrace, sometimes in the sun, sometimes in the shade, ideal for enjoying your burgers al fresco.

As we said earlier, Shiso Burger's bao burgers are light and airy, yet naughty and moist. So there's no risk of weighing down your stomach even in the hottest weather. Here, recipes are combined with an Asian sauce, particularly Korean. There's the Bulgogi Burger (€12.90), with its marinated beef similar to that used on Korean barbecues, its teriyaki sauce and its hint of chili mayo to liven things up, a real favorite; but also the Shiso Burger (€12.50) for seafood lovers, with just-seared marinated tuna, coriander and the same combination of sauces as in the Bulgogi Burger.

We have to admit, other highly original bao burgers also caught our eye, such as the Ebi Burger (€12.50) with tiger prawns, mustard, honey and ginger, or the Toad Burger (€10.50) with Portobello mushroom and blue cheese, one of the solutions for vegetarians with the Veggie Burger (€11) with tofu and grilled eggplant.

To accompany these choice dishes, opt for the (very) generously served sides of Shiso Burger - home fries (4.5€), spicy kimchi (4.5€), or a montage ofedamame (5.5€) - and for a homemade lemonade or iced tea - we particularly liked the refreshingPineapple Mint Shake (5€).

An address that perfectly combines Asian flavors and street food indulgence!
