Pizz ' Aria, Riccardo Giraudi 's new address in Paris, opened on October 27 in the 2nd arrondissement, a stone's throw from the Sentier district.
After Anahi and its South American cuisine and the Beefbar near the Champs-Élysées, the Italian-British entrepreneur is back with a concept that smells of sunshine and the Mediterranean: street food-style pizzas, served in what look like giant matchboxes with designer graphics.
And among them, a speciality: the Pinsa Romana! Fluffy and crunchy at the same time, this creation reveals its oval dough under fresh produce. It's a thick-crust pizza, halfway between bread and focaccia, that turns traditional pizza codes on their head. Discover it topped with cheeses and walnuts, in a margherita version or with truffle cream.
For this new establishment, Riccardo Giraudi called on the architectural duo Humbert & Poyet, known for their work on Beefbars all over the world. The universe is largely inspired by cinema, with symmetry reminiscent of Wes Anderson films such as Aboard the Darjeeling Limited and The Grand Budapest Hotel.
