The Armonia restaurant, located rue du Champs de Mars in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, combines fine food and fine wine. We're off to discover this restaurant with its uncluttered decor that blends wood and marble for a Zen atmosphere.
At the helm of the restaurant is Andrea, who hails from Naples and has worked in the kitchens of Robuchon, Axel Manès and a Middle Eastern prince. On the other, Mustapha, who trained with Mixologist Hanna Van Ongevalle, world champion in the discipline. Together, they set out to create a restaurant that rhymes with elegance and quality.
On the menu, then, are French dishes that don't shy away from inspiration from elsewhere. Andrea draws her inspiration from her roots and her travels. Whether you come for a charming lunch or an excellent dinner, the place has something to satisfy your desires. During our visit, we were seduced by the tasting menu, which you can discover below.
Amuse bouche: divine carbonara egg casserole.
Starter 1: a perfectly seasoned carpaccio of sea bream and citrus fruit.
Entrée 2: ballotins of zucchini stuffed with rabbit and prawns in a smoked sauce, cooked to perfection for a pretty marriage of land and sea.
Course 1: Cod, beet broth and vegetable gyoza, a lovely combination!
Dish 2: veal cooked at low temperature, corn purée and mini burnt leeks. Melt-in-your-mouth with a nice change of purée.
Pre-dessert: yellow kiwi and saffron sorbet, burnt corn and basil chips for a fresh end to the meal.
Dessert: coconut meringue with nitrogen and mango siphon for an amazing show.
So, as you can see, this is a restaurant that really deserves to be talked about. If you like fine cuisine, refinement and service, this is the place for you.
