Discovering the delicious produces from the European culinary heritage is the goal of Let's Eat. To make us taste flavorsome Italian charcuterie and the famous Greek apple, they have teamed up with several places in Paris already putting sun on our plates.
Let us have Italian anti-pasti, Greek mezzes, aperitive boards or rates for preferential rates. Each place offers a menu concocted by the chef to enhance these produces. Beautiful boards at Elementaire, pancetta penne at La Cave, burrata mortadella at Les Amis de Messina, or even apple mille-feuille at Maluna, here are some of the options available for these few days.
As for us, we discovered the menu created by restaurant Bombarde in Montmartre, a new indulging venue worth the trip. Inaugurated a few months ago, this festive bistro set rue Lamarck in the 18th arrondissement, serves wonderful, fresh and seasonal cuisine based on great market produces.
We started with a plate of speck, thinly sliced, served with some olive oil and chopped hazelnuts. We also loved the tasty fresh bread.
As for the main course, the menu comes with a lovely cod fillet uplifted with seared and crunchy pancetta covering leeks. The plate is paired with a side of potato salad we love.
As for dessert, it was a tasty and indulging apple cake served with whipped cream. A cake mostly made of apples and based on a vintage recipe. Rather quiet throughout the day, Bombarde wakes up in the evening, to the light of candles, to provide you with a convivial and festive setting, perfect for a night out with friends, over glasses of wines the chef will make praise.
