What's on the menu? A small address - 30 covers at most - that exudes homemade goodness, from starters to udon dishes, hot or cold, to à la carte desserts. Here, everything is homemade and made on the spot, from the broth - the famous Dashi - to the noodles, made directly with flour from Kyushu (Japan), before your very eyes.
At this almost secret address, you can come as a couple, with friends or colleagues to warm up overhot udons in winter, cool down withcold udon recipes in summer and, all year round, enjoy tapas, the sharing boards that start your meal on a gourmet note, withchicken, vegetable and shrimptempura, marinated tuna... Expect to pay between €12 and €19 for one of these sharing starters (called tapas on the menu), which are well worth the detour, with tempura that's tasty but not too fatty, and crunchy vegetables.
Then it's on to the main course, with recipes that combine curry and noodle soups (with beef, cheese, etc.), Tori Tempura (hot udons served with chicken tempura), Japanese-style beef stew or the famous Goma Tantan (udons served with spicy sesame pork). Options as gourmet as they are generous, for €18 to €24 per person. Most recipes are also served as cold udon, depending on your tastes! Gourmets will opt for a choice of formulas including amuse-bouche, udon and dessert for 35 €, or the same with additional tapas for 49 € (hang on to your hats, as the portions are truly generous). A great address for udon noodles to discover on the Champs-Elysées, in the 8th arrondissement!
