In Paris's Golden Triangle, a gourmet address offers a relaxed setting while inviting us to enjoy refined, comforting gastronomy. To discover it, head to Padam, an intimate four-star hotel located a stone's throw from Champs-Elysées. In this spot that pays homage to the Parisian spirit, you'll find a resolutely modern restaurant that echoes the capital's typical charm.
Whether on the terrace or indoors, you'll discover an elegant spot whose menu offers dishes inspired by Parisian brasserie and French gastronomy in the broadest sense, revisited from a contemporary angle, without compromising on gourmet pleasure. Here, each plate presents fresh, comforting flavors, using seasonal produce, to the delight of Parisians of today and tomorrow.
At lunchtime, a starter, main course or dessert is available for 32€, while a full menu costs 39€. The menu features a number of Parisian must-tries, including the egg, which is available in different versions depending on the season, period or inspiration.
At the time of our visit, it wasn't the evening's egg mayonnaise but the lunchtime egg confit that whetted our appetites. It shared the limelight with a comforting squash velouté, whose hazelnut notes were reminiscent of childhood, and a langoustine and broccoli carpaccio. The latter is very light, but has the merit of awakening the taste buds and appetite before tackling the main course.
The beet tartare on the menu isn't just a vegetarian option "just for you": for those who still need convincing, this dish shows that a meal without meat or fish isn't devoid of gourmet delights. Another favorite on the menu is the roast chicken with herbs, a regressive dish that reminds us of the conviviality of family meals. We'll accompany this juicy chicken with home fries to indulge in all our guilty pleasures.
For dessert, it's time for a little regression: those who prefer a sweeter taste should opt for the rice pudding, with its pronounced vanilla notes and salted butter caramel. If you prefer a fruitier end to your tasting experience, a lighter apple tart with vanilla ice cream will probably win you over.
