Contes et Histoires is the magical event imagined by the Centre des Monuments Nationaux to help us rediscover France's heritage, through unusual activities designed for the whole family. During this event, which takes place over the Christmas vacations, young and old alike can enjoy an exciting program, discovering many historic monuments.
Among the venues participating in the2023 edition of Contes et Histoires is the Château de Champs-sur-Marne, located in Seine-et-Marne (77). From January 3 to 6, 2024, the monument is invaded by the magic of the festive season. A variety of themed events allow visitors to enjoy this majestic château. It's an opportunity for young and old to discover the history and secrets of this furnished 18th-century residence.
As 2023 draws to a close, we're off to take part in the various fun activities organized by the château. This year's Contes et Histoires à Champs-sur-Marne event features Sacha, a rather rude princess... Here's the program of games and shows to discover:
With the help of an animator, help one of the master chefs find his utensils: along the way, you may also discover the secrets of some very gourmet recipes...

Ages 8 and up
Princess Sacha is rude, nasty and has her own way. Her father, the King, gives her a magic box that disappears the next day, and the princess must set out to find it and prove her worth as a future queen. Immersion in the great castle festivities guaranteed!

A tasting of hot chocolate and delicacies concludes these adventures.
The Contes et Histoires event is free for children (or €6 for the gourmet investigation). Parents, on the other hand, must pay their own admission, and reservations are mandatory! Make the most of these wonderful events, which are sure to enchant the holiday season.
