In ancient times, each guest invited to a Christmas Eve party would bring a log of wood to warm the hearth for the entire evening. Now that heating methods have evolved, this lovely tradition could have disappeared without the intervention of pastry chef Pierre Lancam, who came up with the idea of turning it into a cake.
And as things are well done, it's precisely Pierre Lacam's grandson's patisserie, nestled on Rue des Martyrs, that Sébastien Gaudard has decided to take over to delight our taste buds with delicious sweet creations.
For Christmas 2021, Lorraine pastry chef Sébastien Gaudard is looking to innovate and offer, in addition to his traditional logs, a selection of desserts and delicacies to make yourself with family and friends. " After two special years, I wanted to offer new experiences that speak to everyone to make this Christmas 2021 a friendly and fun time for families. The 'Almost everything for...' selection will, I hope, create moments of sharing for all gourmands ", confided Sébastien Gaudard.
To tickle your curiosity and taste buds, Sébastien Gaudard presents his gingerbread house, a 100% responsible, zero-waste house, proposed in collaboration with Ateliers Chutes Libres, a design collective. It's up to you to build your own gingerbread house, thanks to a special kit comprising 5 gingerbread squares with... zero waste! Both gourmet and fun, it's the perfect gift to discover this winter!
