At the end of each year, many gourmets are faced with the same question: which log to choose for Christmas? Which creation will suit the whole family? It's a complicated choice for many. There are cocoa lovers, of course, but also those who prefer more exotic notes, or even pistachio or vanilla.
This year, for Christmas 2024, Jardin Sucré pastry chefs Mélanie & Arnaud Mathez are multiplying the pleasures and possibilities, by imagining no less than 4 logs, each as beautiful and tasty as the next.
Regular customers of Jardin Sucré will be delighted, as the patisserie draws on some of its signature flavors, such as pistachio, to offer ultra-gourmand, successful creations. We love the generosity of the pralines and the different textures full of flavor, all without being too sweet.
The Bûche Pistache & Fleur d'Oranger, the house signature, combines an orange blossom madeleine cookie, a sweet pastry, a pistachio ganache, a pistachio praline and a light orange blossom mousse, offering a delicate, fragrant taste experience.
For chocolate lovers, the Bûche 100% Chocolat combines a soft cocoa cookie, a chocolate streusel, an almond and cocoa nib praline, all wrapped in a light 66% dark chocolate mousse, for an incomparable chocolate intensity.
The Vanilla, Apple & Caramel Log combines a soft vanilla cookie, almond streusel, salted butter caramel, apple confit and Madagascar vanilla mousse, creating a harmony of sweetness and acidity.
Finally, the Cheese Cake, Citrus & Pecan Log features carrot cake, pecan and cinnamon praline, clementine confit and citrus cream cheese mousse, for a touch of freshness and indulgence.
Available to order only, these logs come in two formats: a version for 4 people at €32, and another for 6 to 8 people at €56. They can be pre-ordered on the official Jardin Sucré website and picked up in boutiques.
The Jardin Sucré patisserie, known for its commitment to authentic tastes and its passion for pastry-making, awaits gourmets at the end of the year. Once you've placed your order, all you have to do is treat yourself at Christmas or New Year's Eve. Mélanie Lhéritier & Arnaud Mathez have opened two Jardin Sucré patisseries in the Paris region. The first is in Cernay-la-Ville in the Yvelines department, and the second in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. For chocolate lovers, the company has also opened a brand-new chocolaterie and tearoom in Dampierre.
