France's Direction Générale de l'Aviation Civile has once again asked airlines to cancel part of their flights, with an impact onOrly airport. A third of flights will therefore be cancelled, and numerous disruptions or delays are also expected on flights that are maintained. In a press release, passengers are asked to"postpone their journey and check with their airline to find out the status of their flight".
Like public transport, the aviation sector has been hard hit by the strikes against the pension reform, which was rammed through with a 49.3 vote. There have been35 strike days in the sector since the beginning of the mobilization, with over 3,500 flights cancelled.
