In the wake of the death of legendary couturier Pierre Cardin, the eponymous fashion house, now under the direction of Rodrigo Basilicati-Cardin, his grand-nephew, is embarking on an exciting phase of renewal. The emblematic Faubourg Saint-Honoré address, cradle of the Cardin legacy since 1945, is being reborn with the renovation of number 59, site of the very first boutique inaugurated by the visionary designer in 1966.

The 140-square-meter renovated space retains some of the house's original elements, such as the curves emblematic of the label'sfuturistic aesthetic, which can even be found in the rounded display cases, where looks from the latest collections are shown.
But that's not all... In the coming months, the store will expand by 120 square meters to house the brand's furniture and design line. As for the first floor, it will house the 500-square-meter Pierre Cardin Museum! With 30,000 archive pieces dating from 1950 to the present day, Rodrigo Basilicati-Cardin aims to create a dynamic museum, evolving every six months to celebrate his great-uncle's influence in fields such as architecture and sculpture.
A new era begins for the House of Pierre Cardin, honoring the legacy of the famous couturier.
