Are the Olympic Games really over? No, the party's already starting again with the Paralympic Games! As disabled sports stars prepare to defend their colors at iconic venues, the public is warming up for the Paralympic Torch Relay. This Thursday, August 27, 2024, torchbearers and torchbearers will be crisscrossing the Paris region, carrying 12 flames whose journey kicked off in England. Before the famous Olympic cauldron at the Tuileries lights up again for the launch of the Paralympic Games, theÎle-de-France region is already celebrating the passing of the torches in style.

In Seine-Saint-Denis, 9 towns will host the Paralympic torch relay: Épinay-sur-Seine, Villetaneuse, Montfermeil, Clichy-sous-Bois, Livry-Gargan, Sevran, le Pré-Saint-Gervais, Pantin and Bobigny. The route and timetable in brief:

Departure of the Olympic flame at 9am from the Henri Vidal sports complex.
The town council recommends that you position yourself on the allée Maurice Audin, on the lawn side of the town hall, from 8:45 am.
The torch relay is expected to take place between 9.30 and 10.30 a.m. in the town, crossing it from south to north before reaching the town of Sevran via Chemin des Postes, allée des aubépines, avenue Winston Churchill, avenue Jean Zay, rue Jules Valles, rue Rabelais, allée Joseph Noize, avenue César Collaveri, avenue Anatole France, the Bosquets roundabout and avenue Jean-Jacques Rousseau.

"There will be two entertainment zones, featuring participatory picnics and sporting and/or musical events. They will be located at :
Parc Stalingrad in the afternoon

"The cauldron will be lit at PRISME at 7pm. This will be the only cauldron lighting in Ile-de-France for the Paralympic Games.
