Here's a video game we've all been waiting for, but not quite this successful... Helldivers 2 continues to win over gamers on PC and PS5, offering a multiplayer co-op shooter in the style of Starship Troopers (for fans of the film...). Released on February 8, the game, like many others of its kind, has a few connection bugs... It's sometimes difficult to join a game, and in some cases almost impossible. Blame it on cross play, which requires a quick fix...
And while we await a patch from the developers to resolve this problem, please note that it is possible to reduce the number of connection bugs, enabling you to join a game more easily (or at least more quickly). So how do you go about it? The answer is relatively simple. All you have to do is disable cross play (the ability to play with PS5 players AND PC players), while the developers sort out the issue.
To do this, when you're on your ship, on PS5 (we play on PS5...), press the option button (the one on the left side of the triangle). Once in the menu, press R1 until you reach the"Settings" tab. In the settings, in the"Playability" tab, go to"cross play" and click on "no". You'll then need to confirm the change by pressing triangle. For PC players, the process is the same. Note that you can get around this connection problem by playing with your friends, via a friend code.
It's that simple! Now all you have to do is annihilate your enemies with democracy... Get ready!
