The Rugby World Cup is fast approaching, the last sporting event in France before the Olympic Games in Paris 2024. And you have an exceptional opportunity to live this competition from the inside, to observe the backstage, by being a volunteer extra at the opening ceremony, which will take place on September 8, 2023 at the Stade de France! Will you be one of the 240 people to have this chance?
You can apply via a form, if you are of age and available for 2 hours for the measurement and fitting of costumes, by May. You will also have to be present during the rehearsals from August 25, 2023 to September 7, 2023 as well as on the day of the ceremony, September 8 at the Stade de France. Your mission on the day of the ceremony? You will play a character (customer, bystander, clerk, waiter, glazier, etc.) during the different scenes, in the style of mime and silent cinema.
The deadline for applications is April 12, 2023 and the casting will take place in Saint-Denis. As a reminder, 10 matches of the World Cup will take place at the Stade de France, including the opening match, the two semi-finals and the final.
