Niki de Saint Phalle in particular stood out for her monumental, colorful sculptures, her Nanas, the Golem and the Black Heroes. She collaborated with a number of artists, including Jean Tinguely, her second husband, with whom she created the decorations for the Stravinsky fountain.
The artist died in 2002, after a rich career and numerous exhibitions in major museums and cultural institutions in the United States, France, England, Italy, Spain... Even today, Niki de Saint Phalle is regularly featured in exhibitions and retrospectives.
