The French naval fleet as you've never seen it before! The Musée national de la Marine invites you to discover its Titans of the Seas exhibition from April 2 to May 5, 2025. Open to the public in the museum's reception hall and news area, this photographic exhibition presents the world of military shipbuilding through a series of images byEwan Lebourdais, official photographer of the French Navy. Produced by Naval Group, in partnership with the museum, this presentation highlights the French Navy's surface vessels and submarines from an artistic and technical angle.
After touring a number of French cities associated with the naval industry(Brest, Lorient, Toulon, Cherbourg...), Titans of the Seas makes its final stop in Paris. Ewan Lebourdais, who is also a frigate captain in the citizen's reserve, was given carte blanche to photograph the facilities and ships built by Naval Group. The result is some twenty large-format shots, capturing the complexity of the work involved in designing and assembling these military vessels.
At the same time, a series of free lectures will be held in themuseum auditorium, with the participation of specialist speakers and the photographer himself. These lectures can be booked via the official website of the Musée National de la Marine.
