Café Vert is the name of the brand-new café-coffeeshop opened by Printemps Haussmann on the first floor of the Homme building, replacing Café Jules. A green café in keeping with the department store's new identity.
As the name suggests, the café is decorated with plants by Kaki, the florist and specialist in hydro-cultured plants. In addition to the café, which takes up most of the space, there's a section selling plants to add a touch of green to your interior decor. These plants can be found throughout the café and on the tables. The waiters are even trained to give you all the information you need.
Bright and cosy, it's a pleasure to sit back and relax while enjoying a good breakfast or a gourmet tea time with friends. On sunny days, when work is completed, a terrace will welcome passers-by in search of sunshine.
At Café Vert ( which is also green in an eco-responsible way), you can enjoy a good coffee from Brûlerie de Belleville, organic teas from Kodama or divine hot chocolate from Plaq. On the sweet side, cakes and cookies from Maison Mulot and divine viennoiseries from Sain Boulangerie.
From noon to 6 p.m., the menu offers a variety of pretty salads, a chicken/avocado/cheese sandwich and dishes such as Roast Pollack with vegetables or Beef Tataki with fries. After 6pm, it's time for an aperitif: dis, nuts, chips and toast are on the menu.
In short, this is the place to go if you want to spend some quality time between two shopping sprees and enjoy an attractive, affordable menu. Note that Printemps recently added a new rooftop terrace on the Printemps Femme side and a new restaurant on the 6th floor of the same building.
Bleu Coupole, the Printemps restaurant and tea room with private terraces
Bleu Coupole is the name of Printemps Haussmann's new restaurant and tea room, which opened on March 19, 2022 and is located under the dome on the 6th floor of Printemps Femme. Forget the dark brasserie that used to be there, make way for the restaurant next to the bay windows, which reveals a lovely panorama of Paris and several privatizable terraces, with Elvira Masson's fine dishes on the menu for starters.
