Fig, pistachio, orange blossom, lemon, mint and zaatar are just some of the ingredients on the menu, co-created by chef Michael Riss, available weekdays and weekends for a delicious brunch. A world cuisine that crosses the Middle East, North Africa and Southern Europe to bring together the best of each country, thanks to masterful combinations of tastes. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, savour small dishes and delicacies, accompanied by rose tea or homemade lemonade.
It's hard to choose between melon soup, chakchouka, pan con tomate, baba ganousch or fig toast, isn't it? For our part, we opted for the latter, where fresh goat's cheese and honey add a delicious sweet-savory touch, both gourmet and fruity, for a dish that's very soft thanks to the velvety flesh of the fig. Nor could we miss the"parmigiana de la donna", Italy in all its splendor, with well-cooked vegetables, available on weekdays, for family-style cooking!
When it comes to desserts, pistachios take pride of place, as they do in all self-respecting Mediterranean cuisine! The large, warm pistachio and chocolate cookie is particularly moist and melting, a real comforting treat! As for the orange blossom rice pudding, it's a real delight, just the way you like it. Other desserts await you, also 100% homemade, in the barely concealed kitchen, from which mouth-watering aromas emanate.
After this heart-warming, stomach-filling meal, be sure to take a look at the handicrafts on display at Maison Constantine, from Zoubida's Moroccan-made jackets to North African wines and floral waters straight from Tunisia. Why not take advantage of the beauty salon? We could almost stay there all day!
