Let's go to discover Nessia, the restaurant that opened at 6, rue Charles François Dupuis in the 3rd district of Paris. Just a step away from the République metro station, this bistro has what it takes to seduce us. On arrival, we discover a pretty room with a neat decoration that makes you want to sit down in the beautiful and cosy velvet chairs.
Marble effect tables, wall lamps for a muffled atmosphere and gilding for a modern-chic touch, the restaurant is welcoming. In front of us, the cocktail bar and its row of chairs (with a direct view on the kitchens), to relax in the evening, a good cocktail in hand.
Thomas Cherbit and Maximilien Dieupart, you may already know them from Les Pipalottes, the restaurant that delights us in the 9th arrondissement. At Nessia, they have decided to offer us fresh cuisine with a taste of travel. The menu is short and changes with the seasons to adapt to the good products and the desires of the moment.
On the menu of Nessia, we discover a spontaneous, well-made, readable and friendly cuisine. Good products selected with care, a touch of creativity while remaining simple, here is what to spend a good moment.
During our visit, we were able to taste the old tomatoes and heart of burrata, decorated with cream of eggplant burned with a dressing of black olives Taggiasche. We fell for the excellent Sashimi of sea bass with green shiso and pomegranate molasses and a wakame-raspberry condiment and rice chips. Beautiful associations that awaken our taste buds for the rest. We added to this the very good Baos of veal confit with truffle, which we recommend you to share.
As for the main course, that day, the lunch formula of the day (24€ main course + dessert or starter + main course or 29€ starter + main course + dessert) proposed us the Wing of skate pan-fried way meunière with beet, which we hastened to take. We also chose the melting Salmon confit with zucchinis of the garden and potatoes with a strong shellfish juice and the grilled veal breast, with red bell pepper and tomato jam with honey and oregano juice, very divine.
The cooking is just right, the sauces tasteful, the associations beautiful, we spend a good moment. We let ourselves be taken in by this fragrant market cuisine without fuss. We finish with the regressive Mousse chocolat au lait feuillantine tiédie and the ultra-gourmand Tiramisu to share with two. Strangely, I turned around and my sidekick had already eaten everything! It's a shame, we'll have to come back...
Note also that in the basement of the restaurant, there is also a hidden speakeasy. A room where the windows of wines come to perfect the felted decoration, ideal frame of the private evenings of madness.
