La meilleure boulangerie de France " returned to M6 on January 8 for its 11th season. For this new gourmet edition, famous French baker Bruno Cormerais, also Meilleur Ouvrier de France (2004), and pastry chef Noëmie Honiat continue to criss-cross the roads of France in search of the best bakery in France.
Each week, several bakeries in the same region present their creations to a panel of experts including Noëmie Honiat, Bruno Cormerais and, this year, Michelin-starred chef Michel Sarran from Toulouse. Together, they smell, touch and taste the various breads, viennoiseries and pastries presented for the occasion. The craftsmen's creativity and expertise are also part of the selection criteria.
After stopping off in the Grand Est region, Normandy, Languedoc-Roussillon, Burgundy, the Var and Paris and its inner suburbs, the jury for " La meilleure boulangerie de France " is stopping off this time in Île-de-France and its outer suburbs, more specifically in Val-d'Oise, Seine-et-Marne and Essonne.
A total of 10 bakeries in the greater Paris region will go head-to-head on M6 from Monday June 10 to Friday June 14, 2024, starting at 6:30pm. To stand out from the crowd and be among the finalists, the artisans will have to challenge themselves in four events: the store, the signature product, the signature bread and finally the jury's challenge, pushing everyone to be creative.
