Every year, there are numerous competitions for the best bakers and patissiers in the Paris region. Recently, an artisan from Hauts-de-Seine won the prize for the best pastry in Greater Paris.
This spring, the Greater Paris bakers' union unveils the 2024 ranking for the best traditional French baguette in Seine-Saint-Denis. Held on March 22 at the Campus des Métiers et de l'Entreprise in Bobigny, the competition attracted a large number of participants. But only one managed to take first prize for the best traditional baguette in the 93 region. The winner was the Bondy-based bakery Tangarfa. It won the competition in the"entrepreneurs" category. A fine reward for baker Brahim Ben Addi of Tangarfa, who came 3rd in last year's competition.
La Maison Sohier in Noisy-le-Grand and Moulin de Saint-Ouen in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine took 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
In the"salaried employees" category, Matéo Gosnave from Maison Sohier took first place, followed by Ali Dgouig and Abdellaziz Ben Addi, both working at the Tangarfa bakery in Bondy.
Finally, Fares Nedjai from Au Faim Gourmet bakery came first in the"apprentices" category.
