For these Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, there are no fewer than 4,400 athletes from the four corners of the planet! Discover those who have distinguished themselves in para-triathlon, this ultra-rigorous discipline, with the gold, silver and bronze medal haul, as well as any French success stories.

The Paris 2024 Paralympic Games kick off on August 28 and are due to run until September 8, with many disciplines on the program. Triathlon, better known at the Paralympic Games as para triathlon, comes to mind.

Remember: during the Olympic Games, the event was postponed several times due to bacteria in the Seine. Initially scheduled for July 30, the men's race had to be cancelled and rescheduled for July 31, just after the women's race at 8am. The mixed relay was held on August 5. French athletes performed particularly well, with a 4th place in the team event, two 4th places in both the men's and women's events (Pierre le Corre and Emma Lombardi), and two medals: bronze for Léo Bergère andgold for Cassandre Beaugrand.

Because triathlon combines three sporting disciplines - swimming, cycling and running - all on a course designed, for these Paris 2024 Olympics, in the center of the capital, in the 7th and 8th arrondissements. Find out more about the athletes who won these triathlon events and the country they represent, not to mention possible French prowess!

Among the French triathletes to watch, 21 athletes in all, including 4 guides, will be competing in the Paralympics. These include Alexis Hanquiquant (bronze medallist in Tokyo), Jules Ribtein (four-time winner in his category) and Elise Marc (four gold medals in her category).
