Announced at Summer Game Fest 2024, LEGO Horizon Adventures, a LEGO soft game based on the adventures of Aloy, surprised everyone with its surprising fusion of the Horizon Zero Dawn universe and the famous LEGO bricks! The game was back in the news shortly afterwards, at the Nintendo Direct on August 27, with a release date of Winter 2024: the title is due for release during the holiday season, just in time to get it under the tree.
The release date was clarified at a PlayStation State of Play event... And with good reason: PlayStation has unveiled a new trailer for the game, specifying the exact release date. And you won't have to wait very long to get your hands on it, since LEGO Horizon Adventures awaits you on PC, PS5 and Nintendo Switch from November 14, 2024.
Officially announced on the first day of Summer Game Fest, LEGO Horizon Adventures caused quite a stir with its trailer revealing a post-apocalyptic world filled with mechanical dinosaurs and typical LEGO game humor. Developed by Guerrilla Games in collaboration with Studio Gobo, the game promises to take the characteristic elements of the Horizon saga and add the playful, offbeat touch of LEGO. Players will embody Aloy, accompanied by Rost, in an adventure as entertaining as it is epic, available on PS5, PC and, against all odds, Nintendo Switch.
The surprise of this announcement lies in the game's availability on Nintendo's handheld console. Usually licensed under PlayStation, Horizon is expanding its audience thanks to a novel partnership, reminiscent of the previous success of LEGO games on Nintendo consoles. The idea? Reach a younger audience, while reinforcing the popularity of the Horizon franchise with LEGO fans.
LEGO Horizon Adventures will offer a single-player experience as well as local cooperative multiplayer. Ready to get back in action with the LEGO version of Aloy?
