After test events for archery, triathlon and swimming, which were more or less successful due to pollution in the Seine, the tests one year ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games continue, next to the Stade nautique de Vaires-sur-Marne. This time, two canoe-kayak events, sprint and para-canoe, will be tested during a World Cup, from August 30 to September 1, 2023. A foretaste of the Olympics, just a few kilometers from the capital, where you can also enjoy a host of activities!
Get ready for a sensational three-day aquatic spectacle, featuring the world's best athletes in the discipline - almost 300 from 30 different nations . These are decisive days, as they will determine the individual selections of our French athletes! In addition to the competition, the whole family will be able to enjoy rafting baptisms, to try and imitate the athletes!
For thrill-seekers, these baptisms are open to everyone aged 10 and over, and will give you the chance to try out rafting on the Olympic River, where the title will be decided next year. Places are limited, so be sure to reserve your slot in advance for August 30 and 31! Another international competition is scheduled for October 5-8, 2023 for the slalom event, on this unique European venue, which will also host rowing next year.
