Winter is on its way, and it's getting harder and harder to work out outdoors. Fortunately, Paris is full of gyms, but it's not always easy to motivate yourself to go alone... That's exactly why many gyms now offer group classes at fitness, for team training!
Gyms, dance, yoga, climbing, tennis: where can you work out in Paris and the Ile-de-France region?
Parisian sports enthusiasts are in luck, as there are plenty of activities on offer in the capital! To find out where to go to practice your passion, follow the guide and find your new favorite places! [Read more]
One of the advantages of the capital is the diversity of sporting activities on offer. When it comes to group fitness classes, you'll be able to choose from a range of completely different courses. If you like cycling, we recommend biking or aquabiking (cycling in water).
For those who want to crank up the cardio, bootcamp, boxing or HIIT classes are ideal, although they are also there to strengthen muscles. To choose the class that's right for you, ask yourself: why am I looking to get into or back into sport?
If you want to burn calories, high-intensity group classes are recommended. On the other hand, if you want to work on your mobility and relax your muscles, yoga or pilate seem to be more suitable disciplines. In Paris, there's something for everyone, from large gyms to more intimate venues. We've tried out a number of them, and here's our selection!
