Maison Amat: the Pilates and Reformer studio to try out in the 10th arrondissement

If you love Pilates in all its forms, Maison Amat is for you. A newcomer to the 10th arrondissement, the studio offers Pilates and Pilates Reformer classes, as well as Body Sculpt, Barre and Yoga, in a warm, trendy atmosphere where you come with a smile.

Nestled in the charming town of Hauteville, in the heart of the dynamic 10th arrondissement, Maison Amat invites you to take a break and pamper yourself. As soon as you arrive, one of the two co-founders, a Pilates enthusiast, gives you a warm welcome. Maison Amat offers a range of classes including Pilates Reformer, Pilates, Barre and Yoga. We were able to try out a Pilates Reformer session. The group classes take place in a spacious room in the basement of the studio, with a large number of machines and plenty of space, which is very pleasant. For 50 minutes, demanding but non-impact exercises are performed on the Reformer machine, under the watchful eye of a sports coach.

As a reminder, the Pilates Reformer is a muscle-strengthening method that uses a machine with springs and pulleys to provide resistance and fluidity to movements. It improves posture, flexibility and tone, while reducing joint tension. Suitable for all levels, it provides a deep, controlled workout. If you're more comfortable on the floor, Maison Amat also offers classic Pilates classes.

Maison Amat is more than just a sports studio: the team wants to offer a more complete experience than just Pilates and Refomer. Every week, events and workshops are developed, such as meditation classes, the Amat Running Club or an introduction to naturopathy. A great opportunity to explore new and original disciplines!

In terms of prices, Maison Amat offers single classes at €45 for reformer and €30 for classical Pilates, which is in line with average Parisian prices for this type of service. On the other hand, the studio offers packs of sessions that you can share with the person of your choice, thus halving the cost. The studio also offers a range of subscriptions, from €130 to €360 per month.
