From now on, a question is on everyone's mind: who will have the honor of opening the festivities in Paris? What is the opening act chosen by Guns N' Roses to get the party started just before their entrance on the Paris La Défense Arena stage?

It's Generation Sex! Described as a supergroup, Generation Sex is composed of singer Billy Idol, legendary leader of the British band Generation X, guitarist Steve Jones, former member of the Sex Pistols, drummer Paul Cook, who was also in the Sex Pistols, and bassist Tony James (Generation X, Sisters of Mercy).

Now all over 65 years old, Billy Idol, Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Tony James will take advantage of this opportunity to show the Parisian public that the 70's punk with a British touch is not dead!

It remains now to know which songs will be played that night by Generation Sex in support of Guns N' Roses. As you may have guessed, Generaton Sex, also scheduled at Hellfest this summer, honors the original tracks of the Sex Pistols and Generation X. At a previous concert in 2018 in Los Angeles, the audience was treated to " Dancing With Myself," " The Great Rock n Roll Swindle," " Wild Youth," " Silly Thing " and " Lonely Boy " among others.
