The tour takes visitors on an intimate journey through time, revealing the deep bond between the iconic artist and his Bulgarian roots.
Through photographs, personal objects and musical extracts, the exhibition highlights selected moments in Madame Vartan's career, in which her native country has always held a special place.
Many of these photos, rarely exhibited to the general public, offer a unique insight into Sylvie Vartan's life and career.
" Bulgaria is the land of nostalgia. The country of my parents and my childhood. It's where I learned everything I know today. Having been uprooted at a very young age, I'm very adaptable. I've sung in front of many audiences, in countries with different cultures, and these encounters have enriched me. However, half Hungarian, half Bulgarian, deep down I'm still Slavic, and if I claim an identity, it's this one .
