Careful, you’re are entering the perfect bakery-pastry store den… It’s been 20 years since the famous Julien, also known as Jean Noël, took over the bakery set in rue Saint-Honoré in Paris 1st arrondissement. Since then, guided by talent, the business expended and opened three other stores in Paris: one in the 6th arrondissement in rue Notre Dame des Champs and in rue Saint-Martin in the 4th arrondissement and finally, the latest one in rue de Provence in the 9th arrondissement.
That’s not all, the bakery came first at the “Best baguette in Paris” contest in 1995 (a token of quality!) and remains in the top ten best artisan-bakers in the following years…
Finally, Maison Julien won “Best croissant in Paris” awarded by Le Figaro in 2005 and won “Best Pain au chocolat” in 2007…
Though, you’ll find very beautiful and nice produces, viennoiseries, pastries, macarons, verrines as well as a reception-buffet service. And rumor has it that the house’s donuts are the best in Paris!
We’re impatiently waiting for your reviews, dear gourmet readers!
