B0&MIE is a beautiful bakery in the Montorgueil district, waiting to be discovered.
Open Tuesday to Sunday, 7.30am to 8pm, BO&MIE is a place where you can sit at a table for breakfast, a snack or even work, while watching the bakers shape their bread before your very eyes all day long!
The products are good, the bread is made with love, the viennoiseries are original, and the pastries are tempting. The house specialties? The praline croissant, chocolate cookies, and breads with powerful aromas, the sign of a sourdough that has worked well. BO&MIE also offers individual pastries, cheesecake, vanilla entremets, a delicious tiramisu revisited and a kouing-Amann to die for!
The highlight of the week: BO&MIE's brunch, served from 11am to 3pm every Sunday. Croissants, brioches, all the viennoiseries you can eat, served with a savoury platter and fruit salad, not forgetting the drinks that go with it (also all you can eat), for 22.90 euros, please!
This bakery is the dream of Jean-François Bandet, a Parisian who decided to change his life in 2014 after leaving his company.
After training as a baker at Ferrandi, Jean-François was looking for premises for his bakery, and his millers, the family behind Moulins de Chars, told him about a 240 m² bakery to take over in the Montorgueil district... Jean-François admits he's been very lucky.
In fact, over the past year, thanks to his good products and fair prices, Jean-François has conquered the neighborhood, and was so acclaimed that BO&MIE was featured on France's Best Pastry Show!
BO&MIE will be opening a second location on the Grands Boulevards, so stay tuned!
Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
