Coffee and ceramics lovers, we've found a place that will satisfy both your passions: La Papoterie. This new 80m2 ceramic café is about to open its doors in the 11th arrondissement, on rue Ternaux.
In 2011, Laura, co-founder of La Papoterie, discovered the concept of a café-céramique, a living, dining and creative space combining the arts and cuisine, in Montreal. Although widespread in Canada, the USA, England and Germany, the café-ceramique concept is still relatively undeveloped in Paris - although we've already told you aboutAtelier Geneviève!
Open from Tuesday to Sunday, La Papoterie côté café will offer simple, gourmet snacks based on fresh, local produce, changing with the seasons (coffee, tea, cakes, cookies, savory tarts, artisanal ciders, fresh juices).
On the ceramics side, La Papoterie will be offering year-round workshops in decorating earthenware pieces handmade by French potters, using colorful glazes, as well as themed workshops such as modeling and illustration, run by Laura and Coline.
These ceramic decorating workshops cost between €8 and €50!
