Hungry to get away from it all? Why not try Uma Nota's exotic brunch? Every weekend, the restaurant that combines Brazilian and Japanese flavors invites you to feast on its fusion cuisine with an ultra-gourmand menu.

Since its opening in 2018, Uma Nota has made a name for itself on the Parisian gourmet scene. And for good reason, this restaurant is the ambassador of a cuisine that is stilllittle-known in the capital, a fusion of Brazilian and Japanese flavors, all in a trendy, colorful setting. Whether for its exotic cocktails, colorful ceviches or original creations, this spot in the heart of Paris has made a name for itself among the capital's gourmets.

And good news for brunch lovers: every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 3pm, the address invites you on a culinary journey rich in flavors in a chill atmosphere. It all starts with an assortment of three starters. These include Tiradito miso with white fish, miso sauce, cashews, chili, coriander and avocado; Coxinhas de frango, a kind of chicken and okra accra with a homemade chili sauce, a Brazilian street food staple; and Dadinhos de tapioca.

The latter features fried cubes of tapioca and cheese served with a sweet and sour sauce. More inspired by Japanese gastronomy, its soft, slightly crunchy texture and subtle flavours are sure to surprise. Definitely a culinary experience not to be missed.

Then you have a choice of three dishes: the Robalo assado em folha de bananeira (sea bass fillet cooked in banana leaf, cassava farofa and fried plantain), the Berinjela (a half eggplant with miso, goat cheese and cashew nuts), which presents the vegetarian option, and the Fraldinha, agrilled flank steakaccompanied by corn farofa and feijão salad. Prepared the Brazilian way, this delicately smoked meat literally melts in your mouth, and could also make a tiger cry!

For dessert that day, we were treated to a coconut mousse accompanied by a passion fruit coulis and topped with shards of speculoos. The airy texture, even lighter than beaten eggs, the low sugar content, the natural flavors of these exotic fruits and the spicy note provided by the speculoos make this creation a favorite with perfect balance!

It's hard to go to Uma Nota without indulging in one of their exotic cocktails to complement this absolutely gorgeous brunch. We'd already spotted their caipirinha, one of the best in the capital (with a special mention for the Wasabi version). This time we were tempted by their signature creations.

For mojito lovers, we invite you to venture out and try the O Picante made with Yaguara Branca, homemade ginger ale, mint and lime. This creation combines the refreshing tartness of your favorite cocktail with a spicier touch. But for us, the big favorite was the Kumaru, a gourmet cocktail featuringyuzu sake, vodka, vanilla liqueur, black pepper syrup, tonka bean, lemon and egg white .The acidity of the citrus fruits is counterbalanced by the sweetness of the vanilla and tonka bean , topped by a creamy mousse that lasts throughout your tasting experience.

Now you're ready to embark on this unusual gourmet road-trip!
