If the Besties Bakery experience started on the internet, with donuts boxes delivered everywhere in France, it continues in Paris in a too cute address rue des Bernardins. All in pastel pink, with flowers in front and a Gobelins teddy bear as a customer, the adorable donut store bets on recipes as crazy as they are good.
Every month, 9 unusual and exclusive donut recipes are to be discovered, sold between 3.5 and 4 euros depending on the recipe. During our visit, there was among others a tiramisu donut, a violet donut, a mango-passion donut, another one decorated with marshmallow, or, more classic, with speculoos... Soft and greedy, sometimes with particular flavors, they can be enjoyed on the road with an espresso, a latte or a hot chocolate (at 2,8 euros please!).
With its location, Besties Bakery targets students because it makes them venture into this small alley. But it's worth it. Most of the sales are still done on the internet, where a dozen other recipes are offered all year long. Only small regret, the donuts proposed in store are not the same as on Internet. We would have liked to taste the hazelnut donut, the lemon meringue donut, the salted butter caramel donut, the bounty donut or the coffee donut! But to have the chance to taste these marvels, you have to order before 10 am, you will be delivered the next day before 6 pm in Paris and in all France via Chronofresh.
At 21 euros the box of 6 donuts, and 40 euros the 12, ceal remains a good idea for birthday parties or snacks!
