Dunkin, the American doughnut giant, is coming to France, and the first store is set to open in Paris in early 2025.

Do you love doughnuts, especially American ones? Then you're in luck, because the famous American chain that's all the rage in the USA, called Dunkin' Donuts, is coming to France, and it's in Paris that the brand is launching its first store.

Dunkin' Donut's opens its first restaurant in Paris in early 2025. Founded 74 years ago, the chain, operated by Belgian company QSRP, joins rival Krispy Kreme in France.

This news is sure to delight fans of the brand's iconic doughnuts and coffee. Dunkin' has over 13,000 points of sale worldwide, and is now looking to conquer the French market in collaboration with QSRP, a Belgian company specializing in fast food.

QSRP, managed by Alessandro Preda, is already well established in Europe, operating chains such as Quick and Burger King in Belgium and Luxembourg, as well as Nordsee in Austria and Germany. The Belgian company is also the majority shareholder inO'Tacos. The signing of the master franchise agreement with Dunkin' marks a new stage for QSRP, enabling the brand to gain a significant foothold in France through local franchises.

The first restaurant is therefore expected to open in Paris in early 2025, followed by expansion across the country, with various types of outlets adapted to different consumer opportunities.

Dunkin''s arrival in France comes against a backdrop of heightened competition. Krispy Kreme, another American donut giant, set up shop in the Paris region less than a year ago, and already has seven outlets. This new dynamic in the French doughnut market is an opportunity for Dunkin' to win over French consumers with its quality products, innovation and service. When it comes to doughnuts, we're already well served by some fine local brands. But it's a safe bet that these delicacies will find their audience.

So, are you ready to (re)try Dunkin' Donut's delicacies in France? One, two, three, Donutssss!
